About WikiMicrowave

WikiMicrowave lists microwave ovens for a home kitchen: countertop models, over the range models with a vent fan, built in models, drawers, and the convection and air fry combinations among them. Each entry carries the seller's own title and the latest price the store listed for it.

What is left out

Commercial and heavy duty ovens, twelve volt car food warmers, replacement parts, dust covers, trim kits sold on their own and microwave safe cookware are not part of this catalogue. Neither is a listing that bundles an oven with a cooktop, a range hood, a wall oven or another appliance, so a search for a drawer does not bring back a kitchen package.

The title is the source

The type of oven, its capacity in cubic feet, its wattage, its width, and whether it says convection, air fry, sensor cooking, inverter, smart or retro are copied from the title the seller wrote. Nothing is taken from a photo or a bullet list. Where a title is silent on one of them the field stays blank, because silence is not a no. Cubic feet and watts stay as printed, a litre figure is never converted, and a watt figure labelled as input is not counted as cooking power.

No oven here has been plugged in

Nobody who works on this site has timed a mug, popped a bag or cleaned a turntable, so nothing is ranked by how evenly an oven heats, how loud it hums or how long the door latch lasts. The plain explanations under Learn come from maker and agency pages and say what a term means, not which oven is better.

A price carries its time

Every price is a store reading with the minute it was taken printed beside it. A reading that grows too old is removed rather than left up as today's price, and what you pay is whatever the store shows at checkout.

Guides and Learn

The buying guides set ovens side by side on the specifications sellers print and on price. The front page shows how many ovens the catalogue holds.
